Joseph is a fully licensed real estate, stock and station and business agent plus strata managing agent and a practicing auctioneer. He is also a qualified investment and financial planner, and a Justice of the Peace.

He is currently Chair for Pioneers Lodge Nursing Home, Chair of Pioneers Lodge Trust Fund, Acting Chair for Griffith Leagues Club Ltd, member of Griffith Post School Options and member for Murrumbidgee Diabetes Association. He has recently been nominated as Griffith Ambassador for Cancer Care Foundation.
