Formerly a senior health executive and Deputy Secretary with the NSW Ministry of Health, Dr Tim Smyth is a management consultant in the health, community services and medical research sectors. He relocated from Sydney to Melbourne in 2020. Tim has a deep understanding of government, public administration, legislative and regulatory frameworks, service development and partnerships, compliance and clinical and corporate governance, including the intersections between public and private sectors. Tim has been a Director of the Black Dog Institute, Parramatta Mission, Western NSW Primary Health Network, Central and Eastern Sydney Primary Health Network and the Adelaide clinical trials unit, CMAX. Tim retired from legal practice in June 2023.
